Post University’s popular Police Explorer’s Summer Academy, a week-long program for local high-school students to immerse themselves in the field of Emergency Management, welcomed Waterbury Chief of Police and Post University graduate Vernon L. Riddick to address the group.  The Waterbury Republican-American covered the event in its story entitled police offer frank talk to youth academy.

Fox61.com’s HOPE (Helping Organizations Promote Education) initiative shared news of a recent charitable drive taken on by the Post University Employee Events Committee, announcing Post University collecting school supplies for Boys & Girls Club of Greater Waterbury.

The Bristol Press reported on the great work of two Post student-athletes in their article Blues take down Silver Knights in final regular season game at Muzzy.

Post University Associate Faculty member and alumnus Sal Nesci was honored in a Meriden Record Journal article covering his retirement after 20 years with the Meriden Police Department.

Two of Post’s fall athletic teams were featured in stories in the Waterbury Republican-American.  Season previews were provided for both the women’s soccer team and the men’s soccer team.
