Earlier this week, Post University Athletics announced some exciting news for Eagles fans: track and field is coming to campus! Both men’s and women’s track and field programs will debut with a full meet schedule in spring 2014.
Current men’s and women’s cross country head coach William Ferrare will lead both teams. He brings to his new assignment an impressive track record, having led the cross country team to the NCAA Division II East Regional Championship for the first time in program history during first season with the team.
The Eagles will participate in meets both within the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) as well as events throughout New England. Post becomes one of seven CACC institutions to offer track and field, and one of five to support both women’s and men’s track and field.
