60 new job openings at Post University: Must be creative, passionate, and dedicated to students

I wanted to share this post today from Maddy Kelsey, our Director of Human Resources.

We have some good news if you're looking to start a career in higher education, or take your current position to the next level. Post University is searching for 60 new employees!

We've been growing quickly over the past several years and we need more people to support our student population that's now more than 8,000 strong. In fact, Post University is Connecticut's fastest growing university. Since just last year, we've hired more than 200 new full- and part-time employees.

To find our new Post University stars, we're hosting two career fairs -- one was on Aug. 11 and and the next one is on Aug. 18.

With the unemployment rate teetering around 9 percent, we're continuing to help put Americans back to work with this new batch of positions. Here are the details on our openings and career fairs.

What's available?
All of our open positions are on our Career Opportunities Web page. We're looking for employees with a variety of skills and experience levels to fill a range of positions. Most of our openings are in the admissions department of the Post University Online Education Institute. We are also seeking to fill openings in our academic advising, financial aid, and marketing departments; and within our military program. Adjunct instructor positions are open, as well.

Why join Post University?
We offer a competitive salary, health and tuition benefits, a 401(k) program, and extensive training and career development opportunities. We also provide flexible work schedules for many positions and regular opportunities for career advancement.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for creative, innovative individuals who are passionate about helping change people's lives through higher education. We want strong team players who will be advocates for our students, who include traditional, on-campus students, as well as working adults taking classes online or during evenings and weekends.

When and where?
Aug. 18
12 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Four Points by Sheraton
275 Research Parkway
